Swedish Supplementary School Dublin (Svenska skolan) is a school teaching Swedish to students who have at least one Swedish parent. The school is mainly financed by the Swedish Department of Education and follows the curriculum for supplementary schools abroad.
The main focus is to teach reading, writing, talking and listening skills as well as general and cultural knowledge about Sweden. The school welcomes children who speak Swedish at home on a daily basis aging from 7 to 18 years old. The teaching takes place in Taney Parish Hall in Dundrum on Saturdays between 11 and 13.
