Free creative family workshops for children 3 & 4 years old

Tallaght Library

Language Explorers Early Years is a creative space for children (3 to 4) and families to develop language, play and explore each others’ cultures and languages and develop empathy towards each other through the arts.

This workshop series takes into consideration the importance of encouraging children to share and work creatively with other children through the art of interactive storytelling and arts and crafts by inspiring young imaginations and supporting young creative skills. Workshops aim to raise awareness of the different languages spoken in our communities and to promote an interest in family languages and overall language learning from a young age.

Mother Tongues believes in the power of encouraging multilingual children (including Irish bilinguals) to share and work creatively with their parents or guardians and other children, welcoming all languages while doing so.

The workshops are facilitated in English by artist Fernanda Ferrari but everyone is welcome to use the language they feel most comfortable with.

***All children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian***. Places are limited, book below.
