Free creative family workshops for children 3 & 4 years old
Tallaght Library
Language Explorers Early Years is a creative space for children (3 to 4) and families to develop language, play and explore each others’ cultures and languages and develop empathy towards each other through the arts.
This workshop series takes into consideration the importance of encouraging children to share and work creatively with other children through the art of interactive storytelling and arts and crafts by inspiring young imaginations and supporting young creative skills. Workshops aim to raise awareness of the different languages spoken in our communities and to promote an interest in family languages and overall language learning from a young age.

First series: April 26, May 3 and 10
This series is part of a research piece Mother Tongues is conducting. The workshop will be documented with photos and short videos and participants will be asked to give brief feedback at the end.
Second series: MAY 21 and 28, June 4 and 11
This series is part of Cruinniú na nÓg South Dublin 2022.
If your child is 3 or 4 years old, you can book as many sessions as you like. We hope to see you there!
